Simple Online Scheduling & Payment

With every initial visit appointment, the patient spends 50-60 minutes with the provider, who conducts a thorough diagnostic assessment via interview, records mental health symptoms, and reviews medical history, psycho-social and developmental history, family history, substance use history, and review lab work when indicated. The MWI Psychiatrist or Mental Health NP will then make an accurate and educated diagnoses of the mental health condition and customize a personal treatment plan involving a combination of therapies including psychotherapy, behavioral modification, and medication.

Medication Management appointments are brief, lasting only 20 minutes or less. During these appointments, the patient’s response to medications will be reviewed and assessed, and side effects noted, with changes to medications being made as necessary and refills completed. The patient will receive some supportive therapy during these appointments, with referrals made for the best overall mental health treatment.

At MWI, you are able to choose the best path for you to achieve a better life of mental wellness.

Our mental health providers are here to address your mental health concerns in the comfort of your own home or office. We even try to accommodate your schedule with consideration given to special situations outside of normal business hours.

You may also receive a follow up call or email from us if we haven’t received your paperwork yet, as well as answer any questions about getting connected to the mental health professional of your choice using secure video conferencing through VSee or a password-protected meeting via Zoom, whichever you prefer. The Benefits of Cash Pay

Developing our business model around cash pay only means that we are able to pass along budget-friendly healthcare costs to our patients with complete transparency and no hidden fees. At MWI, we do our best to help you understand the services that you can expect to receive, and because we are a small company we are here to answer your questions whenever you need.

By cutting out the middleman of insurance companies, you as the patient are armed with the information of what you’re paying for, how much it costs, and why it’s necessary. Patients are still able to file claims with their insurance companies if they choose to, and since we have fully accredited healthcare providers, these claims would simply be applied to out-of-network deductibles. Patients are also welcome to use their HSA accounts, providing patients access to tax-free funds dedicated to healthcare services.

Since eliminating insurance billing and associated difficulties with getting paid, our small team of providers is now able to focus on the most important thing — the wellness of individuals and improving their lives through better mental health. Patients are now able to take center stage, rather than insurance companies, and we are happy to partner with our patients who are better equipped to make choices in quality mental health treatment.
